Join us for C2019 Post-Conference Events

All events occur Saturday afternoon, July 13 at The Diplomat

 

Spanish Language Symposium:

Educational Event:   1:30 - 4:00 pm

Leading clinicians and researchers from Latin America and the United States will come together to provide a global perspective on managing the whole child from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Complex pediatric cases and advanced program strategies will be considered. This post-conference segment will be given entirely in Spanish language.

There will be a small additional cost to attend for registered CI2019 Attendees, and also an opportunity for non-CI professionals with an interest in pediatric hearing loss who are not attending the CI2019 meeting to attend the Symposium for a fee. Registration will be available in January 2019.

Chinese Language Symposium:

Educational Event:   1:30 - 4:00 pm

Reception:               4:00 - 5:00 pm

This symposium will involve clinicians from China, the US, and Asian/Pacific areas to discuss perspectives on managing the patients with CI in a multi-disciplinary team approach. This post-conference segment will be given entirely in Chinese language with English slides.

There will be a small additional cost to attend for registered CI2019 Attendees. Registration will be available in January 2019.

Student Scholarships

Welcoming Students to CI2019 Pediatric

The upcoming CI2019 Pediatric Symposium premier clinical research cochlear implant meeting in the United States this year and as such is a special learning opportunity for students, fellows, and postdoctoral scholars in the hearing sciences. A special student rate is available. Those eligible for the special rate will be asked to provide identification indicating they are in a full-time status.

Student Scholarships are offered annually by the American Cochlear Implant Alliance for these meetings. Scholarships are intended for full-time students, fellows and postdoctoral scholars who have a clinical or research interest in cochlear implants. Awards will include registration, a $120 travel stipend to help offset expenses, and a one-year student membership in ACI Alliance. Scholarship recipients are required to attend the conference in full.

Application forms are now available on the ACI Alliance website; visit https://www.acialliance.org/page/Scholarship for more information and to apply. Applications are due no later than February 15, 2019.

Advance Registration for the CI2019 Pediatric Symposium will open in January 2019.

Note regarding Unauthorized Registration and Housing Services:

It has come to our attention there are companies operating on the internet claiming to offer registration and housing services for ACI Alliance Meetings. These companies are not affiliated with the American Cochlear Implant Alliance and do not offer any services on our behalf. You may receive e-mails or phone calls from these companies urging you to book hotel rooms or register for the meeting(s). Registration and housing should only be accessed from the ACI Alliance website or CI2019 Pediatric website. Housing reservations should be made directly with the Diplomat Hotel.
